AirClad has been specifically developed for the events and marketing industry from observing a growing demand for semi permanent architecturally stimulating structures. These structures all flat pack and are capable for efficiently being shipped and installed around the world in any environmental conditions. AirClad through design and engineering takes these structures and events to the next level. The design of the system has been developed to fit within the normal crewing and operations in the temporary structure industry yet allowing our clients to stand out from the ‘marquee’ crowd.

The design of the AirClad is a simple system of structural beams in wood, metal or fibre glass, which run along the floor, walls and ceiling and are cross braced together. The Inflated cladding slides in to this frame via a kadar rail attached the frame and cladding panels. Once inflated the outer membrane tensions the panels to the frame creating a complete pod with all the forces being efficiently transferred around the structure. This allows minimal ground fixings and and no buffeting from wind and as a result the interior works as a platform to create very high level interiors.

The front and rear of the buildings and flush finished with float glass fascias more akin to a high level department store than a semi permanent building. The interior combination of wooden exposed varnished beams alongside the inflated membrane offers a unique techno industrial feel to the more naked buildings. However the interiors can also be clad complete and walled out for shelving or in fact pretty much anything a standard permanent building could offer.

The structures can be finished in any colour and branded with permanent or temporary branding. The interior comes compete with the flooring and and is sealed ready to fit out as needed. The structures can also be supplied with electrical ring mains and lighting from floor, wall and ceiling. As a design and production company AirClad offers an full design and visualisation package for the main structure and interiors, as well as working with your architects and designers to develop their designs.

AirClad structures are aimed at the events, marketing and advertising industries as that’s where our history is, but that does not mean you cannot re invent how you want to use them. These are versatile structures capable for subverting to pretty much any need. The AirClads can be designed and produced to order, or can be hired and customised to suit your event. The minimum lead time is 8 weeks from order, and stock items can be made ready from 1 week from order subject to the stack availability and project brief.
