AirClad has been developed as an ideal building system for creating contemporary extensions to existing buildings as well as stand alone garden rooms, pool houses, home offices, play rooms, cinema, gym, summer house or in fact anything a home may require extra space for. AirClad is fully customisable, transportable structure and will deliver that much needed extra living space for you fast and cleanly.
AirClad offers off the shelf solution and are fully customisable so the possibilities really are endless subject to how far you want to push the limits. The system has been designed to be simple to install by local builders or AirClad trained staff or a combination as suited. The AirClad is energy efficient and can be insulated to all local regulations required. This is little management above that of the standard building.
All AirClad structures are designed and engineered by our own in house team. We use a modular construction system, with the majority of the construction taking place off site, meaning any disruption is kept to a bare minimum. We can even install all the utilities you need, so your new space is ready to go when you are.
The design of the AirClad is a simple system of structural beams in wood, metal or fibre glass, which run along the floor, walls and ceiling and are cross braced together. The Inflated cladding slides in to this frame via a kadar rail attached the frame and cladding panels. Once inflated the outer membrane tensions the panels to the frame creating a complete pod with all the forces being efficiently transferred around the structure. This allows minimal ground fixings and there is no need for concrete foundations or messy wet trades being on site. This is also a benefit if you decided to re locate your AirClad as it would not leave any un sightly foundations and as such the environment will recover back to normal after it is moved.
The front and rear of the buildings can be attached to existing buildings or finished with flush float glass fascias or integrating a range of bi folding doors to this. The interior combination of wooden exposed varnished beams alongside the inflated membrane offers a unique techno industrial feel to the more naked buildings. However the interiors can also be clad complete and walled out for shelving or in fact pretty much anything a standard permanent building could offer.
With the increased cost of moving and lack of desirable affordable opportunities AirClad is the ideal solution to creating something new and exciting on your property, and with our finance packages these can also be much more affordable than you may think. The minimum lead time is 8 weeks from order, and stock items can be made ready from 1 week from order subject to the stack availability and project brief.
AirClad is able to offer its business and private customers lease finance for their structures if sited permanently. Subject to fulfilling the application criteria, your AirClad could be funded with a fixed term, fixed rate, lease rental facility, with full ownership of the building passing over to your business at the end of the term (1,2, or 3 years). Lease finance could be a tax efficient way to finance your garden room office. It also avoids the need to use existing bank credit facilities. Most of all, you will enjoy the cash flow benefits of spreading the cost of your purchase.
